At Druckguss Westfalen, we leave nothing to chance, putting rigorous focus on process optimisation. As part of this, since as long ago as 1992, we have aligned our business structures to the requirements of a systematic, integrated quality management system.

Workforce quality awareness the key

More important than any certification, process optimization or instrumentation and control, Druckguss Westfalen Behringer’s greatest asset is a highly qualified workforce dedicated to quality and customer needs for continuous improvement of our products and services. Continuous improvement processes are fully integrated into our workflows.

We encourage and promote workforce responsibility with ongoing training and in other ways to ensure quality consciousness in all operations. These continuous processes enable us to meet ever more demanding customer and market requirements.

Assured quality with DIN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification

Our QM system has complied with the DIN ISO 9001 quality management standard for many years and assures quality across the entire range from basic measuring reports to the production part approval process (PPAP). To meet the growing demands of the automotive industry as well, Druckguss Westfalen Behringer is currently preparing for IATF 16949 (formerly TS 16949) certification. We are also members of the German zinc die casting industry association RZV Zink-Druckguss and are licensed to use the RAL quality mark for zinc die casting.

Leading the way with collaboration and innovation

Continuous improvement of our product and service quality is one of our foremost business objectives. This is not only a result of process optimisation on the basis of structured quality management. Most of all it is an outcome of exchange with our customers and suppliers. Developing, casting and assembling zinc components is collaborative work.
